T-Shirt Design: Ancient Weapons, by Graphic Design Class (Semester 2)
Using this as a tie-in with studying history, students did research of both an ancient weapon, and the design of the time period of which it was from.
Students developed their designs through a creative process that involved brainstorming, research, thumbnail sketches, receiving feedback, evaluating that feedback, more sketches, more feedback, renditions, more feedback, revised sketches & digitizing the final product using vector software.
T-Shirt Design: Animal Biome by Graphic Design Class (Semester 1)
This was my first time teaching this, and I learned so much about teaching it so students understood the continuity the design needed, and how to bring their parts all together.
Students wanted to create a new biome that contained animals of various biomes. It varies from the deer and sasquatch of the woods to the abominable snowman of the mountains.
Students used a detailed creative process for this design as well.
